_How do I stay focused when bad things happen?......

1. You greatest challenges in life always become your greatest areas of growth and blessings.

2. It is important to realize that when things appear bad that there is actually a gift waiting for you.

3. Our problems are only with our perceptions.

4. Understand the more you have the more you have to be responsible for.

5. Understand that every coin has two sides it has heads and it has tails.

6. Quantum Physics tells us that every positron which is a positive charge, there is a electron which is a negative charge. Which means for every positive side there is a negative side.

7. When things are less than wonderful it is it is your choice where you place your attention.

8. Everything in life happens to assist you.

9. Ask: how does this serve me?

10. Ask: what can I learn from this situation?

11. Ask: how will I use this for a greater good in my life?

12. Ask: how will I utilize what I have learned in this situation?

13. As you ask there questions it will balance your mind.

14. What this does by asking these questions is collapses the negative perceptions.

15. What remains is a new possibility as a result.

16. This allows you to move forward past the negative experience and into creating something more worthy of your hearts desires.

Controlling Your Mind


Lets talk a bit about your mind. You must being to understand how your mind works in order to get your mind to work with you in what you consciously desire. This means that we must for a moment address some underlining beliefs about your mind and how it works. First you need to understand that 93% of everything that you do, say think feel comes from your subconscious. This means that only 7% of your life is controlled by your conscious mind.

 

So, in order to learn to control your life you must learn what is controlling your mind. This is that part that is not much fun to look at unless you’re a geek like me. So I will keep this simple direct and to the point so that you don't get bored.

 

Okay, now for the geek squad. If 93% of all your behaviors thoughts and feelings is being controlled by the subconscious wouldn’t it make sense that you need to earn about the subconscious mind and how it works?

 

The subconscious mind is constantly in a state of receiving. However, there are times that it is more vulnerable than other times. The subconscious does not have the ability to include or exclude information this means that it believes every thing it receives and is subjective to the viewers perceptions.

 

This means that the subconscious mind is very vulnerable to suggestions. This also means that what ever you are predominately receiving exposure to is what your life will reflect. So what this means is you either have a lot of work to do or a little based on what you have been exposed to up until now.

 

Now you also have the conscious mind. The conscious mind does have the ability to include or exclude based on its belief systems about life. The conscious mind also creates perceptions based on what you have been exposed to. Those perceptions form your beliefs.

 

The subconscious mind is always communicating with the conscious mind through your internal dialog or rather self talk. It reminds you of your past experiences the perceptions that it has formed and your beliefs about life. And each painful experience becomes more profound when you have not healed.

 

Okay, now we are going to go into life trauma and your brain. What happens is that every time you have experiences a trauma in your life a section of your brain called the reptilian comes forward to protect you. The purpose of the reptilian section is to protect you against harm, pain.

 

The problem with this is that the reptilian brain also steps forward to protect you from anything that it perceives to be a potential source of pain. So what is really happening is that your programming triggers the reptilian to protect you from harm and depending on your programming is depend on what it perceives as danger.

 

This is where it should come to light for you. The reptilian brain is what triggers your internal dialog or self talk to begin to talk you into whatever behavior it would like from you and it does this through your subconscious mind and then your subconscious mind begins to communicate with your conscious mind.

 

Now you also have the mammalian brain this is the sections that wants and desires love, nurturing, tenderness and so on. So, when life has taught you that love is dangerous the reptilian brain steps forward triggering negative self talk. Which then will change your frame of mind, tone, body language, ultimately controlling the over all out come.

 

Here is another example if you in your life have experienced trauma regarding failure and or was surrounded with failure. Then your subconscious mind will be programmed to respond the same way. The result is an internal dialog that says you “can’t do this” “your stupid” “you’re a failure.” So you have not only the subconscious programming to become failure but the perceptions and beliefs to back it up. Once this has been combined with a traumatic event the reptilian mind steps up and triggers the subconscious mind to start your internal dialog and feed you the emotions and memories of all your programming.

 

Okay now that you are beginning to understand how your mind works you should now be beginning to see the importance of controlling you’re your input so that you can being to control you out put.

 

What is an affirmation? And affirmation is anything that you affirm to yourself negative or positive. It is what you are thinking and healing and rehearsing in your mind and ultimately manifesting into reality.

 

The reason that positive affirmations will only get you some results is because the conscious mind can negate the effectiveness if you have not cleaned up your emotional mess. This is because once you begin to move towards what you desire it will eventually trigger the reptilian brain and the process starts all over again. This is the real reason that affirmations only work some of the time. But the real truth is they work all of the time.

 

What this all comes down to is that you must make a conscious decision to reprogram our subconscious mind to match what our conscious mind desires and heal your wounds.

 

There is a pit fall here when it comes to manifesting what you desire because it must match what your heart desires because this is the mammalian section of the brain and this section wants love craves love and acts of love.

 

What is desire? It is the passion your heart breaths into your life.

 

So you must unite with your hearts desires reprogram your subconscious mind heal your past hurts to allow and except what you desire. So that you are feed the correct dialog.

 

You must heal your wounds from the past and forgive others this is so that the reptilian brain only responds when there is true danger.

 

It is as if you brain has simply been programmed to respond at inappropriate times and you must create an internal harmony allowing the brain to function in perfect harmony with your hearts desires and conscious mind. Just another reason to live passionately because through this you are connecting and engaging the mammalian brain and then again threw forgiveness you are healing the reptilians response creating more harmony.

 

When you chose to not do this your life becomes just as chaotic as you are existing internally.

 

This is why they say that you must change from the inside out. Allowing your internal reflections to become your external experiences ultimately through harmony synchronicity.

 

As we create internal harmony we reaffirm through our actions and reactions and everything that was so strong and difficult will change and becomes weak. This creates a new paradigm a new place of strength, hope and possibilities.

 

This means that everyone who "wills" can reach their place of internal harmony based on their desire to understand and be clear and direct focus with effort and ultimately energy and life force.

__Neurogenesis



We all know exercise is good for us.  But did you know that exercise does amazing things for your brain? 

Recent research reveals that exercise is more important to brain health than scientists ever imagined. For example, most of us were taught that we can't grow new brain cells. Even worse, we tend to believe we're losing them all the time.  But recent studies prove the opposite.

We can generate new brain cells through a process called Neurogenesis. And, the creation of new brain cells can continue through our later years. Neurogenesis seems to be directly tied to one factor - aerobic exercise.

These new findings are having a big impact on the fields of psychiatry and mental health as well. Studies have shown that even moderate aerobic exercise can:

  • Strengthen synapses
  • Reduce stress and anxiety
  • Improve concentration
  • Increase feelings of well being and decrease symptoms of depression
  • Increase blood flow and oxygen to the brain
  • Prevent or delay the onset of Alzheimer's Disease
In fact, Carl W. Cotman, Ph.D., a nuerorobiologist at the University of California at Irvine, makes this startling statement: "You're literally building the structure of the brain by moving your feet."

But here's the catch, if you suffer from depression or poor brain health, you just don't FEEL like exercising, right?

Well I have good news for you. Even small amounts of moderate exercise can promote brain health. 10 minutes during the day, 2 or 3 times per day. That's it! And those 10 minutes can be walking your dog, mowing the lawn, raking leaves, playing with your children, or doing the laundry.

So, don't worry about joining a gym or mapping out a 45-minute workout plan. Just start by doing SOMETHING. Your brain will thank you!
